The "snap polls" indicate Romney won:
CNN: 69-25
CBS: 46-22
Google: 48-25
There are methodology concerns with the CNN poll...it was a small sample and it appears the south, 50+ and white demos were either the only respondents or over sampled.
Nevertheless it seems to be a clear win for Romney. Nate Silver estimates a range of 1-3 points in terms of a potential gain for Romney in the polls. If that happens that would indeed narrow the race significantly.
